Google today officially announced the replenishment of its line of smartphones Google Pixel with two new models produced by the company HTC and LG – Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
First of all, Google turns its attention in its new products to the presence of advanced camera functionality, which is equipped with the following capabilities:
- Hybrid video image stabilization – electronic and optical
- The ability to find out what kind of object is in the camera lens using Google Lens
- Free unlimited cloud storage for all photos and videos captured on Pixel
- Insert augmented reality stickers on photos and videos
In addition to the improved camera, the second generation of Google Pixel smartphones received new functionalities:
- Google Assistant with new Active Edge: squeeze your phone out of the box and connect your virtual assistant to resolve issues
- Now Assistant can control additional settings and applications on your smartphone, as well as other smart home devices
- Full metal housing with IP67 water and dust resistance
- Capacious battery with fast charging support
- The ability to quickly copy data from old phones, including contacts, messages, photos, apps and even iMessage
As noted above, the new lineup is represented by two models – the Pixel 2 smartphone with a 5-inch OLED display with a resolution Full HD and a 6-inch Pixel 2 XL, whose display has an aspect ratio of 18: nine.
