The fully rugged Panasonic Toughpad FZ-A2 should replace the previous FZ-A1. The lack of a fan makes the device light (880g) and thin (16.4mm). The tablet will be able to connect to two types of docking stations – lightweight and extended. The latter were designed and manufactured by Panasonic's subsidiary Global Docking Solutions. They support the Vesa 75mm standard and special clamping mechanisms for quick release. For ease of use and safety, the docking stations, available in Keyed Alike and Keyed to Differ versions, will be equipped with two USB 2.0 ports, 1 LAN, 1 DC in ports and an optional external antenna.
The Toughpad FZ-A2 will be available for order in Russia from August 2016.
