The closer the time is before the opening of the doors of the next annual Mobile World Congress (MWC), the more often all kinds of information leaks and 'spy' photos about upcoming, not yet officially announced, mobile innovations appear on the World Wide Web. Not without reason, fans of the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer – the company HTC, from which they expect the announcement of their new flagship at MWC, are waiting for similar things.
However, according to the Chinese portal IThome, with reference to various sources of information, this announcement at MWC-2016 from the company HTC 2016 may most likely not be. This is indirectly confirmed by such a moment that until now there have not been any 'spy' photos and 'leaked' information about the new flagship HTC.
In addition, referring to their sources of information, the authors of the note declare that all test prototypes of the future flagship, which should come out under the commercial index HTC One M10, have been returned to the manufacturer. This is due to a significant revision of the current product design, which is currently codenamed 'O2' and is part of the 'Perfume' branded program.
According to the same rumors, HTC One M10 will be running a new version of the proprietary user interface HTC Sense 8.0, which in turn will be based on the latest version Android 6.1 Marshmallow. Since even the final appearance of the new flagship from HTC will not be ready by the beginning of MWC, its announcement will most likely take place only in March this year, and the start of sales in April. At the same time, as expected, the new product from HTC will receive a 23 MP camera, a fingerprint scanner (it is not yet known where – in front or behind), a 3000 mAh battery and a dust and waterproof case with an IP78 protection class as well as processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
