The Chinese company TCL Communication announced the start of sales in Russia of a new miniature smartphone under the Palm brand, designed, according to the manufacturer, primarily for digital minimalists – users with an active lifestyle and who seek to optimize online communication, as well as the consumption of digital media, while maintaining at the same time, access to all familiar Internet services and applications. Palm runs operating system Android 8.1 Oreo and has full access to Google Play Store and Google Assistant.
The compact Palm body, comparable in size to a bank card, features a 12 MP main camera with LED flash and an 8 MP front camera, a small 3.3-inch HD display, an 8-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 435.3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The body itself is made of 2.5D Gorilla Glass and aluminum and is protected from moisture and dust according to the IP68 standard.
In Russia, the smartphone will be exclusively presented at MTS. Starting from September 23rd, customers will be able to pre-order the new product on favorable terms in the MTS online store, and from October 5th – to purchase a smartphone in MTS retail stores at a price of 29,990 rubles.
