South Korean company Samsung Electronics has officially announced that it has discontinued global sales of the Galaxy Note7, the voluntary exchange program, and further production of the device, guided by concern for the safety of users.

To exchange Samsung Galaxy Note7 received as part of a pre-order or purchased outside of Russia, the company asks to contact the Samsung hotline in Russia by tel. 8 800 555 55 55. Samsung Electronics offers to replace Galaxy Note7 with Galaxy S7 or S7 edge with compensation for the difference in the cost of devices and receiving a promotional code for a discount of 3000 rubles for any purchases in all company stores in Russia. Also, the user can receive monetary compensation in full upon request.
