The South Korean company Samsung Electronics announced the launch in Russia of special mobile service centers for servicing its Galaxy Fold folding smartphones equipped with flexible displays and flagship smartphones.
It is stated that within the framework of the project, the minivans were equipped with all the necessary equipment for servicing smartphones, a full-fledged workplace for engineers and a spare parts warehouse. The company claims that qualified Samsung specialists will arrive at a convenient place and time for customers, set up equipment, carry out operational diagnostics and, if necessary, eliminate malfunctions within 1 hour (in some cases, this can take up to 2 hours). The repair process itself can be monitored by a replacement device received at the time of repair, to which an image from an IP camera installed directly above the workplace of a mobile service engineer will be broadcast online.
The service is available to Galaxy Fold owners as part of the premium service program, as well as to owners of Samsung flagship smartphones living in Moscow, St. Petersburg and within a radius of 50 kilometers from these cities. Tariffication for out-of-warranty repairs is 0 rubles inside the Moscow or Ring Road, 700 rubles within 30 km outside the Moscow or Ring Road and 1200 rubles within a radius of 30 – 50 km from the Moscow Ring Road / Ring Road.
