Google has released its next report on the relative number Android of devices depending on their version of the operating system, where devices with Android 7.x Nougat are present for the third month in a row.
However, despite this, the share of devices with 'Nuga' still does not exceed 1%, but the trend of recent months remains – an increase in the share of Android 5.1 Lollipop, as well as all devices on Android 6.x Marshmallow and Android 7.x Nougat. Another feature of the new report is the disappearance of devices with Android 2.2 Froyo from it. their share fell below 0.1%, and Google automatically excludes from the report versions of operating systems with a share of less than 0.1%.
Recall that the collection of data for this report is carried out according to the method, where devices with versions of operating systems earlier than Android 2.2 that do not support the new version of the Google Play Store, which allows measuring the number of devices actively connecting to the application store, have been removed.
