In the next monthly report of Google on the relative number Android of devices depending on their version of the operating system, one can note an increase in the share of Android 6.x Marshmallow and Android 7. x Nougat devices, as well as the fall of all other versions, with the exception of Android 5.1 Lollipop, which continues to grow and maintains the trend of recent months.
It is worth noting that the increase in the share for Android 5.1 Lollipop (+ 0.4%) in November (the data was prepared as of December 5 and was collected during the week) in comparison with the previous month turned out to be higher than the growth rate of the share of devices with a new version Android 7.0 Nougat, whose total share at the moment is 0.4%.
Recall that the collection of data for this report is carried out according to the method, where devices with versions of operating systems earlier than Android 2.2, which do not support the new version of the Google Play Store, which allows measuring the number of devices actively connecting to the application store, are removed. In addition, operating system versions with a percentage of less than 0.1% are automatically excluded from the report.
