Google has released its regular monthly report on the relative number Android of devices depending on the version of the operating system, where a slight increase in the share for Android 7.x Nougat devices is noted and the growth of gadgets working running Android 6.x Marshmallow, after a little stagnation a month earlier.
The data presented, which was collected during the week as of July 6, shows that devices that are not running versions Android 6.x Marshmallow or Android 7.x Nougat are showing negative dynamics. At the same time, the share of devices with the latest version of the operating system from the search giant reached 11.5%:
Recall that the collection of data for this report is carried out according to the method, where devices with versions of operating systems earlier than Android 2.2 that do not support the new version of the Google Play Store, which allows measuring the number of devices actively connecting to the application store, are removed.
