Xiaomi released the premium version of the Mi Max phablet

The Chinese company Xiaomi quietly posted on its website an update on its 6.44-inch metal phablet, the Mi Max, released earlier this year, adding information about a premium variant of the device with improved specifications.

For the Indian market, this version will be released under the name Mi Max Prime at a price of INR 19,999 (~ $ 300), while the 'regular' version is currently on sale for INR 14,999 ($ ​​225). The two versions are distinguished by three parameters:

  • New processor – Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 650
  • More RAM – 4 GB instead of 3 GB
