ZTE has presented, as it claims itself, the first in its category a foldable smartphone with two screens – ZTE Axon M. According to the manufacturer, its new product will completely change the idea of multitasking and give maximum pleasure from entertainment. With ZTE Axon M, you can work on two displays at the same time, taking advantage of the increased viewable area of the screen – just like a tablet. But at the same time, the device is easy to fold, fits in your pocket and takes up no more space than a regular smartphone. ZTE Axon M is coming soon to stores in Europe, China, Japan and the United States. The release date in Russia is still unknown.
ZTE Axon M supports four different dual display modes:
- Parallel (Dual mode, A / B): one device, two screens, maximum performance
By activating this mode, you can simultaneously launch two different applications – for example, follow the game of your favorite sports team on one display and order pizza on the other. Or watch the series and correspond with friends, discussing the acute moments of the plot development. - Extended (/ – \): simulates a tablet.
This mode allows you to watch videos, check emails or play on the large 6.75-inch Full HD screen. It doesn't matter what task the user performs – he has a full-size integral image at his service, with which it is convenient to interact. - Mirror mode (A / A): collective viewing.
In this mode, it is convenient to view content for a large group of people. Content from one screen – be it a Power Point presentation, movie, or video – is duplicated on the second. It is enough to put the smartphone on the table, and users will be able to watch the same video from two different sides of the device. - Traditional (A): Standard use.
Users will be able to hold the device with one hand, make calls, write messages or surf the Internet. When folded, the gadget remains compact and fits easily into a pocket or purse. Plus, with two 20MP cameras – the main one and the front one – you can record 4K video and take high quality selfies.
