Today I would like to tell you about one interesting, in my opinion, application: 'Smart Transport'. I stumbled upon it, one might say, by chance, when I needed to find a timetable for trolley buses in our glorious city of Cheboksary. ????
The list of available cities is extensive, Cheboksary is not limited. ????
When a city is selected, a start window appears when the application starts. When you click on the stop selection button, the application offers several options:
You can use the search by name, but it is implemented somehow strangely: if you enter, for example, 'Republic Square' in the line, it will be shown that 'nothing was found', but if you just enter 'Republics', then the stop will be found.
You can select stops from your Favorites, view the last 10 requested stops, find the nearest ones based on the location of your smartphone, or find the one you need on the map.
Consider the process of the application: after the stop is selected, the list of transport is loaded, which is moving to the stop, and the estimated arrival time. From experience of use, I can say that it is displayed quite accurately, the error, if any, is insignificant. By 'swiping' on the 'where to go' tab, you can get information about the arrival time of the next transport on the same route, if available.
That's probably all. In general, I liked the application, I use it regularly. Especially useful in the evening, when transport no longer runs as often as during the day. There is also a drawback: it happens that, in principle, it does not show the arrival time of any transport, but I think this is due to the absence of a specific trolleybus / bus / minibus in the operator's database. Another of the noticed 'bugs': it happens that after selecting a stop, the desired transport is not in the loaded list, but if you select the next stop along the route, it is displayed there with the estimated arrival time.
